Name For A Name - Name Strike
Without an education, a child will never be able to write his or her own name. It’s such a basic ability and crucial part of their identity that they’ll never have. This campaign, aiming to raise 1 million dollars in 3 months and build 40 schools for Pencils of Promise, calls upon common people, celebrities, and major companies everywhere to give up their names via Facebook, Twitter, etc. Ultimately, our goal is to create awareness and raise money so that children can find their names and identities through education. Because if you can’t even write your name, how can you leave your mark on the world?
